TrendNodeHub is an English-language guide to Korean culture and hands-on cultural experiences.
What we are trying to do
There is no shortage of writing about Korea in English. There is very little that answers the questions people actually have before they book something:
- What will actually happen when I turn up?
- Will anyone speak English?
- What does it really cost, and what is extra?
- Is this the tourist version or the real one, and does that matter?
Most listings answer none of these. Most blog posts answer them for one person’s trip two years ago. We write comparison-led guides that answer them for a range of options, and we date everything so you know how current it is.
How we write
- We do not write in the first person about experiences we have not had. You will not find invented trip reports here. Our articles are structured comparisons and explanations, not diaries.
- Prices are given as ranges, marked as estimates, and dated. Operators change rates constantly. A number presented as fact would be wrong within months.
- We tell you to check the official source when the official source is the only reliable one — temple programs, palace opening hours, transport fares. Including when that means telling you not to trust this page.
- We say when something is not worth it. A guide that recommends everything is an advertisement.
How this site makes money
Two ways, both disclosed. As of August 2026 neither is active yet — nothing on this site currently earns us anything, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
- Affiliate links. In future, some links to booking platforms will earn us a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. When that starts, articles containing such links will carry a notice at the top, and the affiliate disclosure page explains it in full. Articles without that notice contain no affiliate links.
- Paid listings. Local operators will be able to pay a flat monthly fee to be listed. We do not take a percentage of bookings, from anyone, ever — so what we earn will not change based on what you book or how much you spend. Paid listings will be labelled as paid.
What we do not do: we do not take bookings, handle payments, or arrange travel. When you book, you book directly with the operator or the platform, and your money goes to them. We are a publisher, not a travel agency.
That is a deliberate structural choice, not an oversight. It keeps our incentives limited to being useful enough that you come back.
Corrections
Prices change, programs close, and we get things wrong. If something on this site is out of date or incorrect, tell us — corrections are made quickly and noted on the page.
Who writes this
TrendNodeHub is a small independent publication based in South Korea. It is not affiliated with any tourism board, booking platform, or operator.
